Membership Cadres & Eligibility
The IPRIMN is currently inviting applications for direct professional membership (by qualification & experience) into the following professional membership grades:
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Associate Cadre Eligibility
Minimum of a Bachelor degree or HND in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Insurance, Economics, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Taxation, Statistics, and other relevant disciplines.
FULL MEMBERSHIP
Full Membership Cadre Eligibility
Minimum of a Bachelor degree or HND in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Insurance, Economics, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Taxation, Statistics, and other relevant disciplines with at least 10 years post qualification experience
FELLOW MEMBERSHIP
Fellow Membership Cadre Eligibility
This is the highest grade of the Institute’s Professional Membership. Applicants must hold a minimum of a Master’s degree in relevant discipline with at least one Fellowship of a reputable professional body and not less than 20 years post qualification experience. PhD holders are considered automatically qualified.

- Continuing Professional Development (CPD): The Institute of Professional Risk and Investment Managers of Nigeria (IPRIMN) encourages and supports Continuing Professional Development (CPD) of her Members across all professional membership cadres. The IPRIMN through distance learning, online courses, seminars, webinars and formal training sessions helps members to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in risk and investment management, ultimately enhancing their professional standing and reputation.
- Enhanced Professional Standard and Recognition: The professional membership of the IPRIMN represents the hallmark of professional status in Risk and Investment Management. Certified Members of the IPRIMN are empowered to use the Institute’s post-nominal designations such as FIPRIMN (Fellow, Institute of Professional Risk and Investment Managers of Nigeria), MIPRIMN (Member/Full Member, Institute of Professional Risk and Investment Managers of Nigeria) and AIPRIMN (Associate Member, Institute of Professional Risk and Investment Managers of Nigeria) after their names as a mark of professional status and global recognition in risk and investment management.
- Career Advancement: The professional membership of the IPRIMN provides members with professional certifications that demonstrate expertise and commitment to professional growth in the field of risk and investment management. This can significantly benefit members’ career progression by way of promotion in their various workplace. Membership Upgrade
An Associate Member can upgrade his/her membership to a Full Member and a Full Member to a Fellow with more academic and /or professional qualifications and work experience in Risk and Investment Management.
ASSOCIATE TO FULL MEMBER
MEMBERSHIP UPGRADE FROM ASSOCIATE TO FULL MEMBER
Associate Members can upgrade to Full members when they have obtained more academic and professional qualifications as well as additional years of work experience. Associate Members can upgrade to Full Members by writing a cover letter and sending it to the Registrar/Secretary to Council of the Institute via email. The following attachments must accompany the cover letter:

i. Evidence of payment of membership upgrade fee of N50,000 ($50)

ii. Receipts of all annual subscription fees to date.

iii. A copy of Associate Membership Certificate
iv. A copy of your higher degree or additional professional certificate, if any.
FULL MEMBER TO FELLOW
UPGRADE FROM FULL MEMBER TO FELLOW
A Full Member can upgrade to Fellow when he/she has gotten an additional 3 to 5 years work experience as a Full Member or has obtained or completed a higher degree especially a PhD or additional professional qualifications from reputable professional bodies such as ICAN, ANAN, CITN, CIBN, NIM, IBDFM, etc. A Full Member can upgrade to a Fellow by writing a cover letter and sending it to the Registrar/Secretary to Council of the Institute via email. The following attachments must accompany the cover letter:

i. Evidence of payment of membership upgrade fee of N100,000 ($100)

ii. Receipts of all annual subscription fees to date.

iii. A copy of Full Membership Certificate
iv. A copy of your higher degree or additional professional certificate, if any.
